The Top 8 reasons why this mom can call herself a poop expert
As a mom of three children who are all under five, I’ve given myself full permission to openly discuss poop. Not because I think it’s something that everyone wants to hear about but for the sheer fact that it utterly and completely consumes my life.
If you think about the amount of times I’ve wiped someone’s butt not including my own in the last 4.5 years then I think that qualifies me as a Poop Expert.
OH. EM. GEE. When growing up this was never a title that I thought was something that I should aspire to but when your world is encompassed and run by your kids’ poop then so be it.
Do we speak the same language?
As previously promised, the repercussions of my up and leaving the other night made quite the impact on my children. Looking back, as a parent, I probably didn’t handle my emotions all that well and should have said something like “Mommy needs a little space and I will be back in a little bit.”
Well, we all know that’s not how it went down at all.
I was so frustrated and anxiety ridden with my children after an extremely long day that when they pushed my buttons I snapped. Stormed out of the house while they still hanging on me and left. Like most people I like my space and as a mother of toddlers and preschoolers that rarely happens.

There is not one day that passes by where I’m not grateful for my kids but this weekend made me questioned that just a little. I don’t know if there was a full moon, Armageddon is upon us or what but it was full of trials. I’m not sure how I had enough will power to not unleash the fury that was lingering inside my body from my children but I did.
